What happens if your product server is down?
We guarantee our product servers are up 99% of the time. In the event our primary product server is down, you can use our backup server http://www2.sellingTicket.com . Plus, we backup our data every 10 minutes. We have redundant servers in various geographical locations to minimize the possibility of our ticketing site being down for any reason other than scheduled routine maintenance.

Can you customize the ticketing site to look like my website?
Yes, with our latest generation of Box Office Solution we are able to “brand” your individual ticketing page with your backgrounds and page headers to look just like your web page.

Can I have multiple channels selling tickets simultaneously?
Yes you can and it is because of our single seat inventory.  This has long been the strongest feature of SellingTicket.  Because we are a web-based ticketing system all tickets sold are being held in the same inventory, if someone purchases a ticket online , that ticket is no longer available anywhere else, in the Box Office, at a remote vender, no where!  Duplicate ticket sales are virtually impossible and with real time reporting you can track ticket sales from anywhere.

What kinds of ticket printers can be used with your product?
Any of the industry standard thermal ticketing printers of which , Boca, Datamax and Practical Automation are the most popular, have been tested and verified compatible with SellingTicket systems.

Can seats be “held” or “reserved” or “blocked out” and released later?
Yes, everyone handles the day to day operation of their box office differently; our system boasts the flexibility to adapt to your particular box office reporting priorities.

Can Selling Ticket Box Office handle complicated seating charts?
Yes, we take great pride in our ability to build Seating Templates for venues of any size up to 50,000 seats, and yes we can build “Hybrid” ticketing with sections of the house sold as General Admission and other sections as Reserved Seating on the same event.

Do you have a "Best Available" solution if I don't want my customer to view how many seats are sold?
Yes, the ticketing site can be "Buyer Select Seats" or "Best Available" based. The "Buyer Select Seats" option allows ticket buyers to view the venue graphically and select seats by “pointing” and “clicking” the mouse. The "Best Available" feature allows the ticketing system to find the best seats for ticket buyers. You can also create both "Buyer Select Seats" and "Best Available" for events.

Can you help our organization to accept donations or collect membership fee?
Yes, from the very basic “would you like to donate?” dropdown request at checkout, to running your annual membership campaign or selling Season Tickets, SellingTicket contains built in features that facilitate your fundraising efforts.

Can your ticketing system sell tickets for General Admission events?
Yes, we can. We handle both general admission or assigned seating or even a combination of both we call “hybrid.”

Do I need to print paper ticket?
No, printing a box office ticket is an option.  Some of our clients have ticket sponsors who pay to have the entire house printed for every performance of ever production.  Everyone who purchased a ticket on line will be arriving at the venue with an E-Ticket, printed at home at the time of purchase.  However if your venue has a ticket printing budget and you apply that to a thermal ticket printer and only print the actual tickets you sell as opposed to the entire house , the printer will pay for itself in no time and it is a much more environmentally “GREEN” solution.

We don't have own merchant account, can we use your merchant account for credit card processing?
Yes, you can use our merchant account. Ticketing revenues can be sent to you within five business days following event closure.

Can we use our own merchant account?
Yes you can use your own merchant account, a one-time setup charge may apply and an ACH relationship with your bank established.

Can we use PayPal as the credit card processor?
Yes, PayPal is an option, but we recommend using our merchant account, since it is easy and very user friendly to end buyers with no additional cost to you (Our merchant account charges the same rate as PayPal).

Can you help us setup a merchant account?
At this time we are not a Merchant Services reseller.  There are many resellers available either in your immediate area or on the Internet.

How are the funds from ticket sales credited to our banking institution?
We send you a check within 5 days following event closure if our merchant account is used. If your own merchant account is used, funds go directly to your account. If you use PayPal, funds go directly to your PayPal account.

Is your site secure for credit card transactions?
You can shop at
www.sellingticket.com with confidence. We have partnered with  www.authorize.net   a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit cards and electronic check payments safely and securely for our customers.

What kind of equipment if we need to use your service?
No exotic equipment is required to use SellingTicket service.  Any computer with Internet access has the potential of becoming your box office.  If you wish to print event tickets in your box office a thermal ticketing printer is required.

How long is the minimum period in service contract?
Our client agreement states a 1 or 2 year relationship; as we are very confident you will wish remain with us indefinitely.  Our documented customer service record will assure you we will work together.

Can your system accept coupons, discounts, or promotional codes?
Yes, it is one of the features that set SellingTicket apart from all the others; you will be able to offer dollar valued or percentage valued coupons or discounts available online, in your box office, or both.  Most importantly, you establish these policies by yourself.

Can I do customization after ticketing site is designed?
It is your ticketing site, and as such you can alter the appearance right up to and until the first ticket for a particular event has been sold.  Once the first ticket has been sold certain elements of the site are no longer subject to editing.

How can I track my ticket sales?
Real-Time reporting is one of the strongest features of SellingTicket.  In our reports module you will find a huge variety of box office reports all downloadable in MS Excel format and can be edited locally.  Another factor to be remembered is because we are a web-based box office solution; your records are instantly available to you regardless of your location.  As long as you have a device with internet access, you can check on an event’s progress 24/7 from anywhere!  Imagine being able to report on the success of an event by checking its progress from your smart-phone!

I would like to order tickets online. Is my PC\MAC compatible with your site?
We strive to make sure
www.sellingticket.com   will be compatible with most operating systems and available browsing software options.  However because browsers are user configurable we cannot troubleshoot browser related issues.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still use your site?
At this moment, tickets must be purchased with a major credit or debit card. Look for this to change very shortly with the addition of e-checks.

I don't have a printer. Can I still use your site?
Yes. Our clients have the ability to offer delivery methods other than Print at Home. However, if Print at Home is the only option you can still order tickets online and forward the purchase confirmation email  to anyone with a computer and working printer, and they will be able to print your tickets.  Or once purchased you can call the client and request them to print your purchased tickets and hold them for you at “will call.”
